Welcome to the NUA Grammar Guru Blog!

Welcome to the Grammar Guru blog!

A "guru" is someone who knows a lot about an area that people go to in order to ask questions about something. This blog isn't only about grammar. It's about language learning, either for a standardized test like the 英検, IELTS, TOEIC, TOEFL, or any other kind of test, or about learning about language. What I am a guru of, I hope, is being able to help you find the answers to your own questions. That is a better way to learn! Also, I am not really a "guru" either. A guru is a wise person people go to in order to ask questions that they are having trouble answering. What I am a guru of, I hope, is being able to help you find the answers to your own questions. That is a better way to learn!

I will post short pieces about resources for language study, including for standardized tests, and I will also post sample grammar questions for you to think about. If you have questions, please post them to me at grammarguru@sagehills.net.

Finally, I am going to write in English. Part of learning to deal with English is to use it. I will try to write in a way that is easy to understand, but please ask me whenever you have any questions.
